R & G Are Dead
Apr. 1st, 2007 09:25 pm*sigh* Poor guys. They never had a clue until it was too late. What a fun way to rethink Hamlet. I wonder if anyone has done this kind of thing with other Shakespearean plays? There's a poem by John Ciarde called Hamlet in the Wings, which is a look at one of the actors waiting to go onstage - his thoughts about the characters and fellow actors playing them.
Lothi, you were right about R & G being like Bill and Ted. And Richard Dreyfus. He hasn't done anything else like the Player King in his career. Thanks for the loaner!!
